Now is an exciting time to be involved in Scouting, as we develop our Skills for Life strategy, to prepare better futures and deliver skills for life to young people who want to access scouting. The Programme Lead volunteer role is an important appointment within our Middle East District, responsible for providing inspirational and effective leadership of our Programme team.
As Middle East District Programme Team Lead you will take the lead in making sure we support the delivery of a quality programme to our adult volunteers who deliver effective programmes to our youth members across BSO, You will lead a team of programme supporters, Nights Away advisors and in supporting, our 14-24 programme and Top Awards team.
You will be joining a team of talented, focussed volunteers who are all passionate about bringing brilliant scouting to every young person who wants to take part and join the adventure.
The role of District Programme Team Lead is demanding, and highly rewarding. We are looking for people who can lead and inspire teams by being a great coach, critical friend and motivator. This is a senior manager role within The Scouts and offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of young people across BSO.
